Prototype Audit
The current CAD is locked around a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ and Sweep v2.2 Choc PCBs. It includes simulated massing for the tablet, PCBs, Choc switches, controllers, USB-C/USB-A port boards, battery module, hinge hardware, and cable routing. The viewer's Internals mode makes those systems visible through the slimmed shell.
- Keyboard bosses extend to the recessed tray stack-up.
- Shell footprint is now 282 x 176 mm with a 24.8 mm lower body and 11.2 mm lid.
- Keyboard stack was lowered to a 22.6 mm nominal keycap-top height for closed-lid clearance.
- Hooked sliding tablet brackets overlap the tablet edge and include a soft-pad relief.
- Battery cradle rails and strap bosses locate the protected power module.
- Rear I/O now includes keyboard USB-C, USB-A accessory/service, USB-C PD input, and a power switch.
- Hinge blocks now include an 8 mm-class barrel relief, hinge-leaf pocket, screw pattern, hard stops, and service-loop routing.
- Fit coupon validates insert holes, screw holes, and bracket slots before large prints.
- Keyboard wiring now uses Sweep v2.2 geometry with Pro Micro-footprint USB-C RP2040 controllers.
